"Read the rules!" I hold a USA Shooting National Official's License and an ISSF International Judge's License in 3 areas: Rifle, Pistol, and Classification (scoring operations). For the 1998 & 1999 World Cup competitions, I managed the electronic target scoring operations and, with Al WIlliams as my "boss" and mentor, produced all the final results reports for the official results books. Additionally, I have extensively studied the Sius Ascor electronic targets, including their internal operation and algorithms, and their impact on competition operations. As a result, I have provided technical assistance to numerous officials and juries on protests and other competition matters when electronic target operations, scores, or interpretation was required. At the Olympic Shooting Complex, I manage and maintain the central scoring and ranking computers used to collect scores from the Sius Ascor targets and to produce event results. I also manage an Air League at the Olympic Complex.
Since early 1997, I have officiated at numerous local, state, national, and international events at the 1996 Olympic Shooting Complex including: As Classification Officer: As Jury Chairman or Member: As Chief Range Officer:
